Little is known of her life. Her father was a royal engineer, and in 1757 she married Louis-Félix Guinement chevalier de Kéralio, from a wealthy literary family. The marriage was secret and opposed by his family. The couple frequented the salon of Madame Helvétius iin Auteuil.

Her daughter Louise de Keralio was a well-known woman of letters.
Financial Situation

Her husband was ruined when he lost his position at the Ecole militaire in 1776.
